McWhorter Creative is a design studio with a full-time staff of one, Seth McWhorter. After getting his start as a Graphic Designer and eventually Senior Art Director for Fitzgerald & Company—a respected Atlanta advertising agency—Seth McWhorter broke away from Fitzco in 2019 and entered the freelance universe.  With years of experience leading projects and teams in agency environments and working directly with freelance clients, Seth has been privileged to work with a variety of exciting clients, primarily in the golf industry.

 

While McWhorter Creative has established a comfortable niche in the golf industry, the goal is to provide unique insights and novel creative solutions to marketing and design problems, no matter the industry.

Meet Seth McWhorter

Seth is better at pictures than he is with words, so here are the cliff notes:

​

  • Born and raised in Athens, Georgia. 

  • Attended the University of Georgia (How 'bout 'em?).

  • Got a degree in Landscape Architecture. 

  • Worked at a landscape architecture firm for two years in Winston-Salem, NC. 

  • Moved to Atlanta to study Graphic Design at the Creative Circus, a respected-but-now-defunct advertising portfolio school.

  • Took a job as an Art Director at Fitzgerald & Company in Atlanta. 

  • Won some advertising Awards: One Show, Addys, D&AD, Cannes.

  • Founded McWhorter Creative in 2019.

  • Lives in Rome, Georgia.

  • Married to a beautiful lady. ​

  • Dad to two amazing daughters.

  • Shorter than average. 

  • Golf-obsessed with a good handicap that doesn't travel all that well.
